# Directions:

- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup granulated sugar. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring continuously until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the dried culinary lavender to the syrup, stir well, and remove from heat. Cover the saucepan and let steep undisturbed for 10 minutes to infuse flavor.
- Pour the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove all lavender solids. Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature before use.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cold water, and 1/2 cup of the cooled lavender syrup. Stir thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients.
- Add the fresh mint leaves to the pitcher and gently muddle them with a wooden spoon to release their essential oils and flavor into the lemonade.
- Fill individual glasses with ice cubes and pour the lavender lemonade evenly among them. Garnish each glass with fresh lemon slices and mint sprigs. Serve immediately.
